Australia Trip Meeting

I hope everyone had a good holiday break. We have a meeting scheduled for Jan.22 at 7:00 pm to discuss the proposed trip to Australia. It will be held at the Delta Lion Pub in the old gecko grill. This meeting is mandatory if you want to be included in the trip to Australia. At least 1 member of your family needs to be in attendance. I would also like the U15 boys & girls to attend. We will be playing a DVD of the games in the summer against the USA as well. Drinks and food are available if you want. Please remember to put your bill under the AFL card so we can take advantage of the sponsorship we have with the Lion.

If the fund raising committee could come at 5:45 so we can have a pre meeting that would be great.

Also the players that have outstanding debts please bring a cheque for the amounts. This includes some who haven't paid for IQuest, team pictures or uniforms.

Please get ahold of me if you can't make it but only if you have no possible way of someone attending.

Thanks, Mike

Gaelic Football

Wolf Pack members Carl Dick (No.6) and Jon Campion (Far Right) helped lead the Cougars to their first win in over five years against the Harps at the St. Patrick's Day Gaelic Football match this weekend. Of course Coach Jase (Flying) was there to inspire all, clinching the match with his game winning penalty kick.

Gaelic Footy this Sunday

Don't forget that everyone in town this weekend should show up dressed for the Gaelic Footy match on Sunday. The game is scheduled for 3:00 PM at Andy Livingston Park. Go to the Cougars website for more details.

You can get there easily by Skytrain - simply get off at Stadium Station (located at the word 'Dunsmuir' on the upper left of the map) and backtrack a couple of blocks. You can see the field from the train as you pass.
